About us
Our origin
The congregation of the Mantellate Sisters Servants of Mary, inserted from its origins with its own charism into a Spiritual line of the Order of the Servants of Mary is a religious institute of pontifical right dedicated to apostolic works(cos1)
It was founded by FILOMENA ROSSI and GIOVANNA FERRARI, tertiaries of the Servants of Mary
They were called to Treppio by the people with the consent of the local ordinary and of the local pastor, to teach the young girls of the people and to take care of the sick.
our charism
The charism of our Congregation is that of humble service drawing constant inspiration from the Virgin Mary, the handmaid of the Lord. It is lived out in total consecration to God in apostolic community with the particular aim of “teaching they young girls of the people and caring for the sick”.
Faithful to this spirit, the congregation, in the course of its evolution, has also accepted others forms of apostolate in conformity with the charism

Mindful of the commandment given by Christ to his disciples to announce the Good News and faithful to its origins, the Congregation cooperates in the evangelization of our brothers and sisters.
Education
Convinced that teaching is closely linked to evangelization and animation in educational world, teaching sisters endeavor to become ever more competent in this mission
caring of the sick
The Sisters dedicated to the assistance of the sick and elderly should feel themselves inserted in the mystery of the suffering Christ
